Title of Project: Self-actualization in “An Angel at My Table” [and] The Demons in My Lunch Box
Inspiration Behind the Project:
For this paper, the author examined Jane Campion’s (1990, New Zealand) film, An Angel At My Table and used bell hooks’ feminist theory of Self-Actualization to analyze An Angel At My Table. An Angel At My Table is based upon writer Janet Frame. “The Demons In My Lunch Box” is an adaptation of a short story that explores the life of a ten-year-old girl who works hard to achieve success.
