Title of Project:  Self-actualization in “An Angel at My Table” [and] The Demons in My Lunch Box

Inspiration Behind the Project:

For this paper, the author examined Jane Campion’s (1990, New Zealand) film, An Angel At My Table and used bell hooks’ feminist theory of Self-Actualization to analyze An Angel At My Table. An Angel At My Table is based upon writer Janet Frame. “The Demons In My Lunch Box” is an adaptation of a short story that explores the life of a ten-year-old girl who works hard to achieve success.

Current Status:

Crystal Craft graduated from Long Island University in 2010 majoring in Screen Writing and Graphic design. Crystal is currently the International Senior Lead Evaluator in International Graduate Admissions Office at Texas Tech University
