Every minute, three hundred fifty thousand tweets are sent, 120 people join Linkedln, 300 hours of videos are uploaded to YouTube and two million four hundred thousand Google searches are conducted. Within such an unprecedentedly fast changing environment, technology has created a pressure between the music industry and the music artist. The evolution of how an artist is discovered and viewed has changed over the past several decades.
